Rene Cannao	16e94131fa	Pass MAKECMDGOALS to unit test submake ... Without this, `make build_tap_test_debug` calls `make` (default target) in test/tap/tests/unit/ instead of `make debug`. The debug target adds -DDEBUG which is needed to define __thread stubs like mysql_thread___session_debug that are guarded by #ifdef DEBUG. Fixes from Copilot and Greptile review comments: - test_globals.cpp: Replace fixed-size datadir_buf[256] with std::string to avoid truncation on long TMPDIR paths - test_globals.cpp: Initialize glovars.has_debug to match build type (DEBUG vs release) so component constructors that validate debug compatibility do not abort - test/tap/Makefile: Remove 'tap' dependency from unit_tests target since unit tests compile tap.o directly and don't need the full libtap.so/cpp-dotenv build chain. Also remove $(MAKECMDGOALS) pass- through which would cause failures when invoked as 'make unit_tests' - tests/unit/Makefile: Fix default goal — make 'all' the first target so 'make' without arguments builds unit tests correctly	3 months ago

Rene Cannao	4be31efd91	Fix cpp-dotenv preservation in clean target and add proper cleanall support ... - Fix: Exclude cpp-dotenv directories from find commands in 'make clean' (was removing build artifacts even when preserving source directories) - Add: proper 'cleanall' target in test/tap/tap/Makefile that removes cpp-dotenv source - Update: test/tap/Makefile cleanall to call tap's cleanall instead of clean - Now cpp-dotenv directories are properly preserved during development This fixes a bug where: 1. cpp-dotenv build artifacts were still being deleted during 'make clean' 2. There was no way to properly clean cpp-dotenv except manually 3. The preservation optimization was ineffective due to the above Behavior now: - 'make clean': preserves cpp-dotenv source and build artifacts (~213MB saved) - 'make cleanall': removes everything including cpp-dotenv source	6 months ago
Javier Jaramago Fernández	ef3360f102	Several enhancements for TAP tests compilation ... - Split 'libtap' into different binaries. This allows for the reuse of 'TAP' utilities that make use of MySQL or other third party library versions. Each of these tests that require special library versions that aren't the common ones embedded into the dynamic library 'libtap.so' should be compiled defining special helper targets, in the 'tests' folder Makefile itself. These helper targets with specify the linking of the required version of the library for the test. Each MySQL client version supported by the 'tap' tests that breaks headers compatibility should be compiled into a different object file, following the previous described procedure. - Add MySQL 8.4.0 client library as a new TAP test dependency. - Multiple compilation fixes consequence of the introduced change to 'libtap.a'. - Added as ProxySQL dependency the forward declaration header for 'nlohmann::json'. This header is the proper way of including the library is headers which are sensible of being included in multiples files. This speeds compilation times of each TAP test. - Removed 'std::regex' dependency from 'utils.cpp', and replaced by project dependency 're2'. Library 'std::regex' should not be used in any place that introduces it as a dependency for later objects, it's heavy, slow, and should be avoided in general.	2 years ago
