# `endswith` Function

`endswith` takes two values: a string to check and a suffix string. The function returns true if the first string ends with that exact suffix.

```hcl
endswith(string, suffix)
```

## Examples

```
> endswith("hello world", "world")
true
> endswith("hello world", "hello")
false
```
