Handle template transactions that don't have any splits with empty credit
and debit strings and those having no set transaction account.
Set the concrete transaction commodity to the first found of:
The template transaction's commodity
The commodity of the first split with a credit or debit string
The commodity of the first split.
This scrubbing function calls xaccTransRollbackEdit which is
leaky. Instead of trying to fix xaccTransRollbackEdit which requires
superhuman skills, it's easiest to track the changes separately in a
GList, and use xaccTransBeginEdit/xaccTransCommitEdit only if
necessary.

Modify the DEBUG and PINFO macros to return unless qof_log_check is
true. Replace almost all direct calls to g_debug and g_message with
DEBUG and PINFO respectively.
Track the highest logging level sent to qof_log_set_level to provide a
short-circuit return in qof_log_check. Remove setting GNC_MOD_TESTS to
QOF_LOG_DEBUG so that the short-circuit threshold isn't defeated by
always being DEBUG.
Net result: 33% improvement in xml load times.
Refactor a bit to ensure that the same price variable names and transaction
currency is used for both extracting the variables and retrieving
any required exchange rates, and that splits with no formula are
ignored in both cases.
1. Don't even check for price/exchange rate on template transactions,
there's no point.
2. Extract function get_transaction_currency:
a. Check all split commodities are valid, abort transaction creation if
not.
b. If the template transaction's currency isn't used by any of the
splits set the new transaction's currency to the first-found currency if
there is one, otherwise to the first-found commodity.
3. Fix a minor typo in a comment.
Limit the range of the random value to 1..1000 to prevent overflows,
particularly in number-of-periods or number-of-years variables.
While we're at it, g_random_int and g_random_int_range return ints so
piping the result through gnc_double_to_numeric() doesn't make much
sense. That's removed, we just construct a gnc_numeric.
This will avoid a ninja-build from picking up a config.h generated by the autotools build
(in the root build directory). Picking up the wrong config.h may lead to all kinds of
subtle issues if the autotools run was done with different options than the cmake run.
It is split into
- /libgnucash (for the non-gui bits)
- /gnucash (for the gui)
- /common (misc source files used by both)
- /bindings (currently only holds python bindings)
This is the first step in restructuring the code. It will need much
more fine tuning later on.
